We had a wonderful time at Cedarbrook!  This was our second time here, but our first time really enjoying the grounds and people.  We are roller coaster lovers and our old hang out campground has closed.  My husband is the “seeker” between us and he found a gem in Cedarbrook as a new family friendly place to camp!! They also claim to be the closest campgrounds to Kings Island!

Pulling into the campgrounds is it clear that the sites are large and very clean.  Every single site seems to have a shade tree and the fire pit area is large with a built in pit.  Because of my health and because our four cats travel with us and it is important that we are able to run air conditioning and have shade to aid the temperature in the trailer.  Electric, water and sewage are available.   The sites where also level, making it easy to park our trailer.

Because this was a “working” vacation for both of us, it was also important to have WIFI.  The day we tried, WIFI failed, so we walked up to the office.  One of the owners, Stacy, went all out to get it up and running again while we waited.  Then it worked like a charm!  One of the better connections in our travels!  We got done just what we needed.  So, we were able to cap off the night with a swim in the pool (water levels checked multiple times a day) and a “free use of” DVD movie.

Oh, did I forget dinner?  We are on vacation, so we treated ourselves to “The Snack Shack” on site.  Stacy was now working her shift here and we got to hear more about the beginnings of the cozy campground and the family love that is still involved daily.  Her grandfather had a vision about his field someday being a great area to stay because it was half way between Canada and Florida.   Then Kings Island was built bringing even more campers their way.  You can learn more about her family’s story on their website http://cedarbrookcampground.com/aboutus.aspx.
