COMFORTABLE PORTABLE SEATING - TAILGATE OR PICNIC
Our family LOVES to tailgate. Especially with the prices of gas and food these days! So the easiest way to save big $$$ so that you can go to concerts, amusement parks, games or whatever …is to tail gate or picnic. So many people do it, and so many people don’t’ understand how EASY it is to do. In some ways, it is a lost art that our Grandparents use to do. But you have to have the right things to make it easy. In an ongoing series, I will give away all the secrets that our family uses to same money to afford activates that we love to do!
In the beginning we started hauling around old chairs and blankets. That was fine for awhile, but the blankets got gross dirty or/and wet. We even threw out a few blankets after eating. Plus, let’s face it, eating with your plate in your hands doesn’t give you enough hands to hold your drink, your silverware, and talk at the same time!!! Then we found a few things that were VERY portable and made us so much more comfortable. The first wonderful gem we found was a PORTABLE FOLDING PICNIC TABLE.
This portable picnic table folds into a handy little thing that took no room at all in the back of our vehicle. It holds 250 lbs per seat, so it is good for both adults and children. It is made of high strength aluminum alloy frame and polyethylene resin. The table top height is 24” and the seat height is 16”. There is a whole in the middle of the table made for an umbrella. Plus it comes in four colors – Red, Hunter Green, Blue, or Black.
We just go to the vehicle and pop up the table, which just takes seconds. Because it has a handle when folded, we either eat by the vehicle or find a spot of green grass nearby. You can’t believe the fascinated comments we get as others are walking by. “Where can we get one?” is the most common question we hear.
